Encouraging Your Creative Side

The Studio, our makerspace, is a collaborative place that encourages creative exploration, design, and building, using a variety of technology and equipment.

Our collection of equipment and tools has been carefully selected by our staff based on research and feedback from a survey shared with all Library cardholders.

The Studio is generously sponsored by the Bruce A. Michel Trust.

  • An orientation is required to use the space.
  • Click here to see the orientation and program times.
  • Can’t make one of the scheduled orientation times? Email us for more options.
  • To make a reservation to use The Studio, call 847-720-3230 or fill out this form.

The Studio is located on the second floor, near the Reference Desk and patron copiers. The Studio and its equipment are available to Park Ridge Public Library cardholders only.
