Thanks to the generosity of the Bruce A. Michel Trust, patrons have access to a Mac computer loaded with Adobe products, including Dreamweaver, Illustrator, Muse, and Photoshop. We also have equipment for digitizing your old family photos and videos, podcasting, and more. An orientation is required to use the Lab. The Studio, our new makerspace, is a collaborative place that encourages creative exploration, design, and building, using a variety of technology and equipment. The Studio is generously sponsored by the Bruce A. Michel trust.

The Library has two meeting rooms for use by nonprofit community groups and businesses, for non-commercial purposes. Due to the demand for these rooms, groups may reserve a meeting room only once every three months.
We have five study rooms available for patron use. There are no reservations: they are first come, first served. Patrons are guaranteed two hours in a study room and can stay longer if there is no waiting list.
The Park Ridge Public Library offers test proctoring for students of long-distance or online learning programs and for professionals taking licensing exams. We proctor written exams only. We do not proctor exams requiring a computer or other technology.
WiFi is available throughout the Library along with wireless printing.
