Celebrate the 100th anniversary of the start of Summer Reading at the Park Ridge Library! This year, adults are challenged to read one book in each of these four categories by Saturday, August 10, to win a limited edition tote bag.

  • Read a book set in a library or bookstore
  • Read a book from one of our displays in the Library or on our website
  • Read a book made into a movie or TV series
  • Read a book that intimidates you

Earn tickets toward a drawing for a book-themed bonus prize by reading more books and/or completing one of the following special activities:

  • Attend a Library program
  • Check out a digital magazine using Libby or Flipster
  • Explore local history in our newspaper databases
  • Read differently – listen to an audiobook, read a graphic novel, try a genre you don’t normally read, etc.
