Middle Schoolers, we have purchased extra copies of 1,000+ Lexile books to help support summer reading needs of D64 students. A list of high-Lexile books with extra print copies can be found here. You can also visit our Booklists page to search lists by Lexile range and see high-Lexile books in multiple formats.
High schoolers taking advanced/AP English classes, we have purchased extra copies of the required texts, which can be found on display in the Teen Loft starting at the end of May. This September/October, Middle & High School Coordinator Maddie visited Lincoln & Emerson Middle Schools to share books nominated for the Rebecca Caudill Young Readers’ Book Award, an annual award given to the author of the book voted most outstanding by children in grades four through eight in participating Illinois schools.
