What's Up in the Loft? banner.

Hey there, Loft crew!

Blind Date with a Book (all month long)!

Yellow bookshelves with books wrapped in red paper with white spots on display.

Looking for your next favorite romance read? Take a chance on a book from our BDwaB display, available through the end of the month. No judging by the cover – just check it out, unwrap, and see where the story takes you!

Take a look at some more romance recommendations on our Booklists page or fill out a Book Match with your book date must-haves.

Some staff favorites you just might find under wraps:
–  Pasta Girls by Taylor Tracy – a sapphic culinary Romeo & Juliet retelling with dueling Italian restaurants, set in New York City. You’ll slurp this one right up!
–  Both Can Be True by Jules Machias – a heartwarming story about two outcasts who join forces to save a dog who’s about to be euthanized – and fall for each other along the way. Plus, the dog’s name is Chewbarka. What more do I need to tell you to get you to read this?
– Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins – hard to believe this modern classic is celebrating its sixteenth anniversary – but here we are. It’s still as swoon-worthy as it was in 2010, don’t worry – and don’t miss it!
– A Little Bit Country by Brian D. Kennedy – it’s got Dollywood vibes, an enemies-to-lovers plot, and long-lost secrets about disgraced grandmothers. Do I need to say more?

New Monthly Staff Picks

Still not sure what to read next? We’ve got a new, updated-monthly Staff Picks list on our website – check it out each month for fresh reads.

February’s nonfiction t(w)een highlights are sure to pique your interest!

A Quick Note about the NeeDoh Fidgets ✨

A bin of colorful canvas bags saying "Please Return to the Teen Loft" and with luggage tags saying "Squishy Fidget."You’ve shown a lot of love for the NeeDoh fidgets in the Loft (seriously, they’ve been wildly popular!). Unfortunately, they haven’t been holding up to heavy use as well as we hoped. We’re working on finding sturdier options so everyone can keep enjoying stress-relief tools without the frequent casualties in our to-be-repaired pile. Thanks for being patient – and gentle – when you can!
