Thank you for reading with us all summer!
This year was certainly different, but one thing stayed the same -- Park Ridge is a city of readers! Kids in Park Ridge logged 25,723 days of reading from June 8 to August 23; and, we are so impressed that 403 readers earned prize books for completing the Summer Reading Club goal. Great job!
Thank you to our prize donors...
Prizes were sponsored by the Friends of the Library and, whenever possible, purchased at local businesses. Thank you, Friends! To learn more or to join the Friends of the Library, click here.
Thank you to Mayor Marty Maloney, the Park Ridge Fire Department, and the Park Ridge Police Department for donating the experience prizes.
Thank you to the LaDuke Family, who donated the wooden dollhouse.
...and to our "Around Town with Eugene Unicorn" partners!
We are also grateful to these local businesses who displayed Eugene Unicorn in their windows all summer in our 'Around Town with Eugene Unicorn' game; and thank you to everyone who played!
