A stack of colored pencils and the phrase Your Opinion Matters written in redThank you for your interest in helping with our strategic planning process, which cannot happen without input from the community.

Please take a few minutes to respond to our online survey. Your answers will help us formulate a plan to steer the Library through the next four years, so we can continue offering programs, services and materials for the whole community.

If you’d prefer to respond on paper, we will have hard copies of the survey available at the Patron Services and Reference desks, as well as outside the office of the Library director on the second floor. You can also print out a PDF copy of the survey here. Please submit your completed survey to the Patron Services desk or the Reference desk.

Help us plan our Library’s future

Deepika Thiaragajan, President, Library Board of TrusteesOn behalf of the Library Board of Trustees, I’m thrilled to announce the launch of the Library’s strategic planning process. Over the next few months, we’ll be working with ReThinking Libraries to gather valuable community input through interviews with Library patrons, local business owners, and school leaders and faculty. We’ll also be conducting surveys of Library cardholders in various formats to better understand what matters most to you—whether it’s our services, programs, or collection. Keep an eye on your email and our social media for survey links; we’d greatly appreciate it if you could take a few minutes to share your thoughts and experiences with us.

Your feedback is vital as we shape the Library’s mission, vision, and roadmap for the next four years. Our goal is to have the plan approved by the Library Board in August 2025.

We’re excited to hear from you!

Deepika Thiagarajan, President
Park Ridge Public Library Board of Trustees
