The Park Ridge Public Library is thrilled to announce Stocard, an app that will allow patrons to scan their library card, or manually enter their card number, and use the app on their phone at any library checkout station. No physical library card will be needed once the card is loaded on the phone.
“We are really excited to be able to offer this new app to patrons,” said Patron Services Manager Anastasia Rachmaciej. “More and more, people are using their phones for everyday conveniences and leaving their wallet at home. Having your card right on your phone will make it that much easier to stop in the library and borrow materials.”
Patrons who already have the Keyring app downloaded on their phone can continue to use that, or they can switch to Stocard. Keyring is no longer available to new cardholders.
The app is available through Google Play, the AppStore for iPhone, and AppGallery for Android phones. For assistance with Stocard, stop at our Patron Services desk.
