Our Science Fiction & Fantasy book discussion series returns this fall with three events. As the genres become increasingly popular, so does our newest book discussion series. One librarian who initiated the group explains the primary benefit to attending a genre-specific book discussion.
“It’s a lot of fun to meet others in person who enjoy the genre and to hear their perspectives,” said Reader Services Librarian Rachel D. “You could even get a few recommendations in the process!”
The group will meet next on Wednesday, September 3, to discuss A Fate Inked in Blood by Danielle L. Jensen, a story about a shield maiden blessed by the gods who battles to unite a nation under a power-hungry king. Sign up online and pick up your book at the Reader Services desk on the second floor.
