Reading Patch Club

August 24 - May 31

Join the Reading Patch Club and earn special patches for reading throughout the school year! You can join the Reading Patch Club anytime and collect as many patches as you can by the end of 6th grade. This is a great program to join year after year so you can collect all of the patches!

Birth - Preschool

Read 50 picture books with your little one to earn these patches.

• Reading Makes Me Hoppy
• Read To Me
• We Read Together

Kindergarten

Kindergarteners are encouraged to explore some new more involved stories as they earn these patches by reading 50 picture books with you.

• Wagon
• Warm Up to Books

1st Grade

Students in 1st grade are encourages to exercise their new reading skills as they begin to become independent readers. By reading 20 books on their own (or with a little help) they can become Star Readers while earning these patches.

• I Can Read More!
• I Am A Star Reader!

2nd - 6th Grade

Independent readers in 2nd - 6th grade can earn patches based on their favorite genres and writing styles. Reading 8 books will earn them these fun patches.
