In the late afternoon on Thursday, August 17, the Library received a bomb threat. The Park Ridge Police Department conducted a thorough investigation of the building and determined the building was safe. Out of an abundance of caution, we closed the library for the evening. 

We are extremely grateful to the Park Ridge Police Department for their careful and quick action in ensuring everyone’s safety.

We are open today; services and programs will continue as scheduled.
