Park Ridge Public Library’s Children’s Services Department has a number of games and activities to encourage learning through play while at the Library. In addition to the apps or activities on our iPads and computers, we also have physical games patrons can play.
ABCMouse
Accessible on patron computers in the Library is ABCMouse, a learning program covering reading, math, art, music, and more for kids ages 2 to 8. Created by teachers and education experts, ABCMouse has over 10,000 exciting learning activities for children at all academic levels. Activities are also available in Spanish.
LaunchPads

You asked, we listened! Our tablets have moved and are now available to use by request at the Children’s Desk. We’re excited to announce that we now offer Launchpad tablets. Choose from two types: Creative Thinker and Imagination Society.
Launchpads are available for use in the Children’s Room. To borrow one during your visit, please bring your photo ID or CCS library card to the Children’s Desk.
Please note: non-CCS library cards are not accepted for tablet use.
