Babies LOVE Books
Parents of infants under one year old may stop by the Children’s Services Desk to receive a bag that includes a board book to keep, a Babies LOVE Books bib, and useful early literacy information.
This program is made possible through donations from the Park Ridge Noon Kiwanis and the Friends of the Library.
1st Library Card
No matter how old (or young) you are, you can get a Library card if you are a resident of Park Ridge. Children accompanied by a parent or guardian (with a photo I.D. and proof of residency) may register for a Library card at the Patron Services Desk.
Once you have your 1st Library Card, don’t forget to stop by the Children’s Services Desk for a special surprise!
Preschool and Enrichment Fair
Each year, the Park Ridge Public Library hosts a Preschool and Enrichment Fair. The Fair offers parents a chance to learn about local opportunities for their children. For information about the 2023 Fair, please visit the Preschool and Enrichment Fair. If you would like to have a table at the fair, please contact Liz Fichter at lfichter@parkridgelibrary.org.
Growing Book by Book
As part of the national 1000 Books Before Kindergarten initiative, Growing Book By Book encourages parents of even the youngest children to read together regularly.
