The Friends of the Park Ridge Library’s annual Spring Book Sale, held May 2-4, raised $8,734. Funds raised will be donated back to the Library to sponsor or support a variety of programs. Last year, the Friends launched a seasonal concert series that continues to draw capacity crowds for evening performances by jazz bands, pianists and other popular genres. The Friends of the Library also sponsor all the incentive prizes for the Summer and Winter Reading programs.
