Another successful Book Sale is in the…books!
The Friends of the Library Spring Book Sale raised $7,458 at their Spring Book Sale! With funds raised from their book sales, the Friends of the Library sponsor the prizes for the Summer and Winter Reading programs, a seasonal concert series, like this winter’s very popular “A Charlie Brown Christmas,” and more! Thank you to everyone who shopped the sale!
Mark your calendar for these upcoming Friend of the Library Book Sales:
- Summer Book Sale – Saturday, July 11
This sale is held during the Taste of Park Ridge and will take place outside the Library’s front entrance. - Fall Book Sale – Friday-Sunday, October 16-18
Support the Friends year round:
- Become a member! Memberships start at just $25.
- Donate new or gently used books in the Friends book drop off at the back of the building.
- Donate unread or gently used magazines they can sell in the Book Nook. All magazines are welcome, but those that are always in demand include National Geographic, People, Vogue, The New Yorker, The Atlantic, Martha Stewart, Better Homes and Gardens, Vanity Fair, Consumer Reports, Fortune, Wired, and AARP publications.
- Shop the Book Nook year round on our second floor, or the seasonal Fall, Spring, and Summer sales.
- Spread the word! Encourage your friends to join, and learn more about how you can get more involved via the Get Involved tab our website.
