The Friends of the Park Ridge Library will host their annual Summer Book Sale outside the Library on Saturday, July 12, from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in conjunction with the Taste of Park Ridge.
Proceeds from the sale will benefit special programs, collections and services of the Park Ridge Public Library. Patrons can join the Friends of the Library starting at $25 for an individual membership. Memberships may be purchased online, at the sale or by calling 847-825-3123.
The Friends of the Library is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, dedicated to the support of the Library. Through an annual membership drive and several large book sales, the Friends raise money for special programs, collections and services that enhance the Library and benefit the community. Each year the Friends contribute more than $20,000 to the Library.
