Adults who sign up and meet the Summer Reading program challenge to read four books by August 22 will take home a Summer Reading tote bag!
Patrons ages 18 and up are encouraged to get out of their comfort zone and read a book in each of the following categories:
- Read a book featuring a journey or road trip.
- Read a book where nature plays a major role.
- Read a book you picked entirely for the cover.
- Read a book you own but have never read.
Participants can keep reading more books or complete these bonus activities to earn a chance to win a bonus prize:
- Attend a Library program
- Read a “Jurassic”-inspired book
- Read a book with a red, white, or blue cover
- Talk to a librarian about a book you read
To participate, sign up on Beanstack and log your reading online. You can also pick up a paper log at the Reader Services desk on the second floor, write down the books you’ve read and turn it in by August 22 to get entered to win and claim your tote bag.
