Book Madness 2023 Winners Announced

We offered two separate brackets this year - Favorite Stories of Local Elementary Students and From Page to Screen. After five weeks and more than 2,900 votes we are happy to announce our winners!

For Favorite Stories of Local Elementary Students... the winner is: 

The Day the Crayons Quit by Drew Daywalt is your favorite story! With 59% of the vote, these colorful crayons beat Creepy Pair of Underwear by Aaron Reynolds. 

From Page to Screen... the winner is:

With 72% of the vote, Kate DiCamillo's Because of Winn-Dixie, defeated Matilda by Roald Dahl.
