The Park Ridge Public Library is hosting its second annual Block Party on Sunday, July 23 from noon until 3:00 p.m.

This fun-for-all-ages outdoor event drew nearly 1000 people last year. This year’s family-friendly celebration includes:

• Live music – Steve Hashimoto Jazz Ensemble
• Chicago style hot dogs, brats and nachos from Buddy’s Special Events
• Lisa’s Homemade Italian Ice
• Bounce house
• Bingo
• Games
• Bubbles
• Photo ops with Gadget
• Face painting
• Park Ridge fire truck
• Library trivia contest (winner will receive a Kindle Fire)
• Prizes and much more
