Have you ever wanted a book or item that the Park Ridge Library does not own and wondered how you might get it?
While no public library can purchase every book published, we can help you get what you need through the Interlibrary Loan (ILL) service. Through ILL, the Library has access to the collections from libraries across the state, the country and even the world.
Patrons have used their Park Ridge Library card to check out items from literally all over the world. We have filled requests with materials from small towns in Illinois such as Metropolis (home of Superman) to large city libraries coast to coast including Toledo, Boston, Seattle and San Jose; from large universities including U of I and University of Wisconsin, and even from as far away as Sydney, Australia, London, England, Toronto, Canada and Paris, France.
