The Friends of the Library raised more than $3,000 at their Winter Pop-Up Sale
Thank you to all who stopped by to shop the sale of puzzles, games and children's books.
About the Friends
The Friends of the Library is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization, dedicated to the support of the Library. Through an annual membership drive and several large book sales, the Friends raise money for special programs, collections and services that enhance the Library and benefit the community. Each year the Friends contribute more than $15,000 to the Library.
Money raised from the Friends of the Library book sales support myriad programs and departments in the Library, including prizes for the Summer and Winter Reading programs, live performances for adults and youth like the hugely popular Character Fleadh concert in 2023. More recently, their contributions made possible the purchase of new furniture and an area rug for the Storytime programs.
Donations
The Friends accept donations of new and gently used books, board games, and puzzles in their donation dropbox located behind the Library, near the staff parking area.
