For Teachers

Middle and High School educators,
we're here to help you!

Library staff work closely with teachers at all the Park Ridge schools by supplying access to supplemental classroom materials, supporting the curriculum, and collaborating on programs that develop information literacy skills and a love of learning and reading. Some of the ways we do this include:

With information and literacy skills...

Book Match
Have your students fill out a Book Match. They will let us know what they like to read, and we will create a personalized book list for them!

Booklists Looking for a list of recommendations based on book genre, type, read-a-like, or staff picks? Find all that here!

100 Books Before Graduation
This reading incentive program runs all year long and challenges readers to read 100 books before reaching their middle or high school graduations. Readers earn a prize every 25 books and every book they read counts!

Summer Reading Club
Typically runs from early June through mid-August. Read at least 20 minutes a day for 30 days to earn raffle tickets and a prize book.

Winter Reading Club
Typically runs from late December through early February. Read at least 20 minutes a day for 20 days to earn raffle tickets and a prize book.
