Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) and
Automated Materials Handling System
The Park Ridge Public Library is seeking proposals from qualified vendors with experience providing RFID and Automated Materials Handling to public libraries. The proposed system must work in conjunction with a SIRSI/Dynix Symphony ILS, the Library’s current ILS, and demonstrate the ability to support a potential migration to an Innovative Interfaces Polaris ILS.

Once a vendor(s) is (are) selected, the vendor(s) will work with Library staff, the Library’s IT service provider, the staff at the Library’s consortium (Cooperative Computer Services, Inc.), and the Library’s architect to integrate the RFID system into the Library’s renovation plans.
Proposals must include background information which identifies the qualifications and experience of the vendor, provides information on similar size library installations, and five references.
Please complete the registration form on the Library’s website to receive the detailed RFP.
All questions regarding the details of this proposal should be emailed to the Library Director, firstname.lastname@example.org
