Summer Reading Clubs 2019


A Universe of Stories: 
Summer Reading Clubs for Kids, Teens & Adults

June 5 through August 18

Reading can open up a Universe of Stories! Broaden your horizons with good books this summer and have the chance to win some great prizes (sponsored by the Friends of the Library). 
There are book clubs for readers of all ages!

Children (Birth - entering 8th grade)

  • Starting June 5, track every day you spend reading online via Beanstack or on a paper log you'll get from the Children's Services desk.
  • Collect a drawing ticket and sticker for every 5 days of reading you complete.
  • Tickets and stickers can be collected starting Sunday, June 9.
  • Two prize drawings will be held. The final days to enter prize drawing tickets are Sunday, July 14, and Sunday, August 18.
  • To receive a free book, complete 20 days of reading by Sunday, August 18. 

Middle School & High School (Grades 6-12)

  • Start tracking your reading on June 5.
  • Read four books OR read for 30 days to earn a free paperback book and raffle tickets! 
  • Sign up in person at the library or online (below).


  • Start tracking your reading on June 5. 
  • Complete the 4 Reading Challenges OR log 12 reading hours by August 18 to receive a free tote bag (while supplies last).
  • Keep on reading to earn raffle tickets for a bonus prize!
