The Park Ridge Public Library is happy to announce that renovation plans are moving forward. The Library Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting at 7:00 p.m. on January 23 in the Library’s third floor meeting room to review the construction contract.

The Library renovation is designed to better serve the needs of our patrons now and in the future and improve their library experiences. Plans call for a remodeled lobby with a vestibule, a more open floor plan for the Children's department, an expanded Teen Services area, new furniture and carpeting, additional study rooms on the second floor, an enclosed quiet reading area and a larger media lab.

After approval of the contract, next steps will include finalizing a timeline and project plans. As more information becomes available, it will be posted on the Library’s website.
