Our life safety code compliance work is complete throughout the first floor, and we're thrilled to announce we will reopen our main entrance on Prospect Avenue Monday, May 10, at 2 p.m.
- Our hours will still be 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. this Monday through Thursday while some construction work is finished in the first part of the day in the building. (Watch for more news from us later this week about our hours.)
- With our main entrance on Prospect opening; the Touhy entrance will be closed.
- Holds will be located back on the shelves in the first floor lobby.
- We will have limited seating available throughout the Library.*
- Public computers on the second floor will still be available by appointment.
- In the Children's area, we will have some kits available, but play equipment like the playhouse, toys, iPads and the train table will still be unavailable.
- All programs will continue to be virtual.
