Are you anxious to see more access to in-person library services? We are too! But what you may not be aware of is that the Library is currently undergoing upgrades to bring the building into life safety code compliance. The project includes an upgrade of the electrical and fire alarm systems, and the installation of a sprinkler system.
The extent of this work has meant that as the project progresses throughout the building, some areas are inaccessible. This circumstance of shifting and diminished workspaces, coupled with the capacity guidelines recommended by public health officials during the pandemic, have us in a unique position as we make plans to allow for in-person browsing.
As soon as we have further information about when we will resume in-person browsing and holds pickup, an email will be sent and an announcement will be shared on social media.
We truly appreciate your patience and support as we work to determine the best way to allow for in-person browsing as the project continues.
