March is National Youth Art Month, when communities across the country honor the talent and exuberant spirit of their youngest artists. The Park Ridge Public Library is celebrating Youth Art Month by showcasing a selection of student art from local elementary and middle schools.
Featured work from 34 students incorporates a number of mediums, including watercolors, clay, pastels and mixed media. The schools represented are: Lincoln Middle School, Franklin Elementary School, George Washington Elementary School, Emerson Middle School, St. Paul of the Cross School, Theodore Roosevelt Elementary School, Eugene Field Elementary School and G.B. Carpenter Elementary School.
The display in the second floor exhibit case will run through the month of March.
