The Park Ridge Library is a member of the CCS Consortium, a group of 24 public libraries that share the cost and maintenance of an online catalog and circulation system. This weekend, CCS will add two more libraries to the network, increasing the number of books and DVDs available via inter-library loan.

As a result of the enhancement to the network, the library’s catalog will be offline from 9 p.m. Friday, September 4, until Wednesday, September 9.

• Patrons visiting the library are asked to bring their Library card with them to allow staff to access their account and check out materials.
• Library cards will not be issued this weekend, though it is still possible to apply online.
• Patrons will be unable to request holds online during this time; our building is open for in person ‘grab and go’ browsing from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, September 4, and Saturday, September 5.
