September is Library Card Sign-up Month!
If you’re due for a Park Ridge Library card, sign up during the month of September 2022, come get your card, and get entered to win a Bose Bluetooth speaker!*
If you know someone who needs a card, share this page with them and, if they sign up and come in to claim their card, they can enter your name to win a Bose bluetooth speaker in a second drawing!
Signing up is easy:
- Please note, prize drawings are for readers in grade six and older.
- Apply in person at our Patron Services desk in the first floor lobby.
- Apply online between September 1 and September 30, 2022. Then come in to the library to show proof of residency and pick up your card.
- Children (birth through fifth grade) getting a card can stop at the service desk in the Children's area and pick up a library drawstring bag.
To be eligible for the drawing, and to get your physical library card, please bring proof of residency with your current home address to the Patron Services Desk in the lobby. It only takes a few minutes to obtain a card, and cards are valid for three years.
How to Win
All adults applying for a library card in the month of September will get a welcome kit with a little library swag when they sign up and pick up their card. When you pick up your new card in person, you'll be entered to win a Bose Bluetooth speaker. Remember to fill out a ticket for the person who referred you, too!
Children getting a card can stop by the Children's department for a library drawstring bag and a photo opp with their first library card, while their parent or caregiver can get entered to win a Bose Bluetooth speaker at the end of the month. Already a cardholder? Refer a friend!
If you already have a card and love it, refer a friend or family member and you can get entered to win, too! Just send them the link to the application or tell them to stop in the Library. They just need to put your name on their prize drawing ticket as the patron who referred them. A parent who brings their kids in to get a library card can also be entered!
