Have you returned an item to the library recently, and then received a reminder that it's due? If you know you returned the item(s), just ignore that reminder. It may take up to 3 days from the time an item is returned until it is reflected on an account. Fines are being waived through September 30.

Why the delay? RAILS, the regional library system, and CCS, the area consortium, have extended the isolation period on returned materials to seven days based on the REALM (Reopening Archives, Libraries and Museums) study, with research conducted by Battelle, an Ohio-based lab. Consequently, you may receive overdue notices on items you have returned because they are being isolated and have been processed by staff yet.
