A volunteer who helped keep local seniors connected to the community in subzero temperatures and a facility manager who oversaw the building’s recent renovation were presented with the annual Library Award at the April 16 meeting of the Park Ridge Library Board of Trustees at City Hall. 

The award was given to Adult Services volunteer Gerry Zwicky and Library Facility Manager John Priala. The Annual Library Award honors an individual who has performed extraordinary service to the Library.

Established in 2006, the Library Award recognizes individuals and groups that have performed extraordinary service to the Library. The award recipients were selected by the Communications and Development Committee, with approval from the Library Board of Trustees.
