Read books and win prizes!
Read five books to win a free paperback book. For each additional five, you will get a small prize and be entered in a drawing for a Nintendo DS game system. Prizes donated by the Friends of the Library.
Registration is required for programs unless otherwise specified. We will accept in-person registration only on Opening Day, Friday, June 6, 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. in the First Floor Meeting Room. Online and phone registration will begin Saturday, June 7, at 9:00 a.m.

Taste of China and Chinese Calligraphy

Get a taste of Beijing, China -- site of the 2008 Summer Olympics--through food, art, and music. Learn how to create Chinese characters and have a chance to try out Chinese brush calligraphy.
