New to Children's Services, the Music Kits are located by
the CD collection. Each kit contains a picture book, various
musical or rhythm instruments and an activity sheet.
THEME BAGS AND FIELD TRIP BACKPACKS
Field trip bags provide an adventure for parents and children to
explore. Concern bags help parents and children work through
difficult issues. Theme bags help parents present new concepts
to their children. For details on the different bags, ask at
the Children's Services desk, or click here.
PARENT'S COLLECTION
Immediately to your left as you enter the Children's Services
Department, you will find the Parent's Collection. There is a
collection of parenting books, parenting magazines and free
publications of area events.
TEACHER'S CORNER
In the far right-hand across the room, you will find the
Teacher's Corner. This area houses a collection of books for parents
and teachers. Books include study skill guides, lesson plans,
craft ideas and more.
