Kids, have you read all the Baby-Sitters, Hardy Boys or whatever, and don't know what to read next? If you're in third grade or older, we've got just what you're looking for! It's called "Special Request". Even though we have thousands of books in the library, we know that it's sometimes difficult to choose a really good book from so many possibilities. Now you can stop by the Children's Department and ask for the "Special Request" form. Fill in the information about your hobbies and reading habits and return it to us. The Children's Department staff will carefully look over your questionnaire and then select 8-10 books JUST FOR YOU. We'll even include a personalized book mark to help you remember the titles of your "Special Request" books. When your personalized list is complete, we'll reserve 3-4 books for you, call you up and let you know they're here. You can pick them up at your leisure. We hope you enjoy them and will come back for more! |
