Park Ridge Public Library cardholders may request items not owned by the Library through Interlibrary Loan. The Library participates in ILLINET, the statewide interlibrary loan network, and OCLC, a worldwide interlibrary loan network. The circulation period for Interlibrary Loan materials is based on the loan period decided upon by the lending library. Some items may not be available, and some libraries may choose not to send certain types of items, but we will do our best to fill your requests.
Our catalog includes 22 neighboring libraries in addition to ours. There is a drop down box where you can change from searching just our Library collection to any or all of the other locations. The Park Ridge Public Library is a member of the North Suburban Library System. Some of the other NSLS libraries, like Skokie and Arlington Heights, have standalone catalogs.
