The following are a list of the programs we offer Scout troops. Visits are scheduled weekday afternoons between 4 and 5pm, or Wednesday evenings, depending on the Library program schedule. Click on the link below to schedule a visit.
Learn about the Library’s beginnings and how it has changed throughout the years. A library tour will be given after.
Discover various ways to research using Library resources. A scavenger hunt will test those skills at the end.
Explore hands-on learning stations that incorporate science, technology engineering, art, and math.
Take a guided tour of the Library and learn about the different departments.
Use Tinkercad to learn how to design a 3D object.
This program requires all Scouts to create a free Tinkercad account ahead of time.
We can pull materials for your troop using your Park Ridge Library card. Click on the link below if you would like us to pull resources, such as books, movies, music, etc. to support a topic you will be covering that is not mentioned above (i.e. gardening, recycling).
