You can borrow more than books and movies from the Park Ridge Public Library. We now offer a collection of unique items as well. Are you looking for a creative new way to capture your next adventure or make some family memories? Maybe you want to take a peek at the rings of Saturn or the Sea of Tranquility. Ever wanted to get your hands on an interactive robot, but weren't sure where to start? Have you ever headed to the library on a bright sunny day only to be surprised by a rain shower as you're getting ready to check out? Our Exploration Library has you covered!

Dash is a programmable robot great for beginners and young explorers that can move around and interact with its environment. A Bluetooth enabled device and free apps (Go, Wonder, Path, and Blockly) will bring Dash to life.

Another great robot for beginners, Ozobot is a small, smart toy robot that empowers gamers and learners to code, play, create, and connect the physical and digital worlds. Ozobots can be used with web editor Ozoblockly.

Ready for more of a challenge? Learn robotics, programming, and electronics with Sparki. Sparki can be programmed with C++ or block based programming using free software downloaded to your computer.
