New Digital Book Service Has Arrived @ the Library!

Thanks to funding from the Bruce A. Michel Library Trust, a new digital library collection, with hundreds of Digital Books and audio books are now available for you to browse, select, download and enjoy.

The digital version of a print book can be read on your home or work computer, laptop, pocket PC or personal digital assistant (PDA). Audio books can be downloaded to a pocket PC, MP3 player or other portable devices or burned to CDs. The Library's Digital Book collection includes bestsellers and classics, fiction and non-fiction, titles for children and young adults.

How do I download Digital Books? You need:

• A valid Park Ridge Library card
• A personal computer (not a computer in the library)
• Free reader software (available on the website)
• Brief access to the Internet

Try it today:

1. Download and install the free reader software and activate it.
2. Select Digital Books to read or listen to.
3. Check out your Digital Books with your library card.
4. Download and read!
