• Thirteen Online Catalog Stations which indicate the holdings of the Park Ridge Public Library as well as 22 area libraries

• Forty-three Computer Stations with access to the Internet, our Premium Resources and Word 2007, Excel 2007 and Powerpoint 2007 including two express Internet stations limited to fifteen minute sessions.

• Three Game Computers for children

• Reader Services Computer Room with three computers with access to Word 2007, Powerpoint 2007, Excel 2007 and the Internet

• More than fifty Premium Resources covering a variety of subject matter available to our patrons from the library. Many of these specialized resources are also available from your home through our website.

• Printing Service: Black and white printing for $.10, color printing for $1.00

  Reference Department

  The Reference Department offers:

  • Five Online Catalog Stations including one ststion in the second floor lobby.

  • Nineteen Computer stations with access to the Internet, our Premium Resources and Word 2007, Excel 2007 and Powerpoint 2007

  • Two Express Internet stations for quick access limited to a 15 minute session.

  • Special Services Computer equipment designed to make reading and library use easier for the blind, physically challenged, and learning-disabled. Documents can be scanned and read aloud, print can be easily translated to Braille and Braille to print, text can be read aloud while typing, and more!
