The Board of Trustees is composed of nine (9) members, each of whom holds office for three (3) years from the first of July of the year of appointment and until a successor is appointed. The Mayor appoints three (3) Trustees each year before the first of July to take the place of Trustees whose terms expire. Vacancies on the Board occasioned by removal, resignation, or other-wise are reported to the Mayor, and the unexpired term is filled in a like manner as original appointments.
