The Park Ridge Public Library is a city library that serves the residents of Park Ridge, Illinois. The Library's service boundaries are the city limits.
On July 1, 2011 five Illinois library systems merged into a new consolidated library system called RAILS - Reaching Across Illinois Library System. Park Ridge residents may use their Park Ridge library card to borrow materials from hundreds of libraries across northern Illinois. Parking
Free 3 hour parking is available in the parking lot next to the Library. If you plan to use the Library for more than 3 hours please refer to the Parking Map for long term parking options, including 5 and 12 hour meters and pay boxes.
CCS Library Consortium
The Library is also a Member of the CCS Consortium, a group of 23 public libraries that share the cost and maintenance of an online catalog and circulation system. This means that you can easily search the holdings of all 23 libraries and place holds on items that the Park Ridge Public Library does not own.
