What You Can Expect During Renovation

Library Hours

• Our goal is to maintain regular hours throughout the project.
• If we need to modify hours during the construction, we will keep you updated via our website.

Parking

• The parking lot and drive-through book drops will be open.
• However, a number of spaces will be taken up by construction-related storage and equipment.

Meeting Spaces

• Unfortunately, the first and third floor meeting rooms will not be available during construction.

Library Collections

• Collections will be moving around to accommodate construction.
• Some items may be stored offsite and access will be limited.
• If you can’t find what you are looking for, please ask one of our staff members. We are here to help!
• We are expanding our online collection of books, music and videos. These resources are available 24/7—with no dust or noise.

Library Programming

• We will continue to offer programming for kids, adults and teens.
• Some programs will be on hiatus or held offsite during construction.
• We are planning on several “pop-up”programs during the summer. Stay tuned for more information.

Media Lab/Technology

• Construction may have an impact on the availability of WiFi.
• Computers, copiers, printers and the scan/fax stations will be available but moving around to accommodate construction.
• While we are building a new, larger Media Lab, there will be limited access to this equipment.

Book/Media Drops

• The drive-through book drop will be open.
• The first floor drop may close during Phase 3.

Study Rooms

• Study rooms will be updated and two new rooms added.
• They will not be available during Phase 2 and 3.

• Check out our newsletters, Facebook page and emails.
